Today, there's a new manip I made as an illustration for a fanfiction being
written by one of my dear friends, Amyurban (screen name). The story is called
"Wanderer of the Ages" and it's about one really sexy vampire and his struggle
with being who he is. It's not available to the public yet but it will be published
at Urban Reveries eventually. Now while the name of the vamp isn't Karl, my
friend wanted her vamp to look like him so this is what I came up with.
When you look at the manip (which is totally G rated, no nudity at all), you'll
notice that I didn't use Karl's real body. That's simply because I couldn't find
a hi-res picture of him wearing the kind of clothes I was looking for and doing
the right kind of pose. So instead I used Alex O'Loughlin (who actually plays a
vampire on the American TV show Moonlight). Also, I had to cheat and paint
part of Karl's hair in order to make it longer. The hardest part was to make all
the different textures blend and it's not perfect but it's pretty decent, I think...

The Comanche Moon double DVD set has come out two days ago and in it were a couple of nice special features with lots of Karl in them so I made some screencaps and I've decided to upload them to the gallery. You will find them in the new Screencaps section. Enjoy!

Tonight, I have a very special video made by Lorraine, a talented vidder and Karl fan. She made it especially for me by using some of my wallpapers (I had given her permission to do so) and I'm very grateful to her and also very flattered. As most of you probably know by now, Karl will be starring as Dr. Leonard McCoy
in the next Star Trek movie. I've been a Star Trek fan since I was a little girl so
for me, this is absolutely and utterly thrilling.
Unfortunately, at this point any info about the movie and especially when it comes
to new pictures is still ferociously guarded by the producers so we only have our
own imagination to try and figure out how the boys (and girl) would look in uniform.
Of course they won't be exactly like the ones in the original series but apparently
they're pretty close (minus the garish colours I hope) and since it's all I have to
work with at the moment, I thought I'd give it a shot anyway. You can find this
manip in the Photomanipulations/Various section of the gallery.

I can hardly believe it's already been 2 months since my last udpate! Time flies... Anyhoo, I had the chance to watch Comanche Moon 2 weeks ago and I've used some wonderful very high quality screencaps to make 4 wallpapers. Yes, you have read correctly, 4 new wallpapers! Hope you'll enjoy. :-D

I have two new wallpapers for you today. One was made with pictures from a
photoshoot for Pavement magazine that Karl did a few years back. The other
one was made with screencaps of Eomer from the extended version of ROTK.
I dedicate both of them to a very dear friend of mine who is also a big fan of
Karl and who's been going through some really tough times lately.

A new wallpaper this time, made using two photos from the King Kong premiere
back in 2005. The man is pure sex and he looks sensational even if he's dressed
like a pimp so I'll just let those images speak for themselves. You'll excuse the
disco feel of the piece but that's what his glasses reminded me of and I love the
style and music from that period. Plus, I think the 70's were totally cool so... sue
me... LOL!

I have something very different for you today. Almost ever since I became
a fan of Karl 3 years ago, I've wanted to do a portrait of him. But somehow
I could never get it right. About a month ago, I decided to try my hand at
digital painting but I was a little scared because even though I've been doing
portraits for as long as I can remember, I had always worked only with lead
pencils, never with colour. Well, I finally decided to overcome my fear of colours
and the result can be found at the gallery, in the new Drawings and Paintings
category.
I also want to mention that I put a watermark on that one because after
all the hard work I put into this, I defintely don't want it to end up on
someone's else website or personal page with no credit. Yes, my lovelies,
there are some art thieves on the net. Sad but true. :-(

I can't believe it's been over 2 months since my last update... *sighs*
I have to admit that the lack of new Karl photos hasn't helped my muse.
But yesterday I found some new hi res stills from Comanche Moon and
of course I couldn't resist turning them into wallpapers (2). I hope you'll
enjoy them as much as I did making them... :-D

August 12, 2007 Watching The Bourne Ultimatum got me all nostalgic about Kirill... So here's a new Kirill wallpaper, just because he will always be the sexiest cold-blooded killer ever... I made it in a style I don't use very often but that I really love. Tech brushes are from Digital Nexus.

With the release of the new Pathfinder Unrated DVD, I was able to make some screencaps and I thought I'd make yet another wallpaper of Karl as Ghost. With a body like that, it was just too hard to resist! LOL! Also, I've decided it's time to do some clean up in the Gallery's data- base so anyone who's been inactive for the past year will be deleted. If you come over and see that your username is no longer working (it is also possible that some accounts get deleted by accident), then just register again. I'm really sorry for the inconvenience that this may cause to some of you but it is something I have to do. :-)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KARL!
Yes, our man turns 35 today and I have plenty of goodies to celebrate!. For those of you who thought I had abandoned this site, don't worry. If I ever decide to close it down for good, I will all let you know beforehand. I may have been out of inspiration for a while but my Karl muse came back last weekend and I've been very busy with him. The result is 7 new wallpapers, 5 of Karl as himself, one of Reaper and one of Kirill. Enjoy!
February 17, 2007 No new art this week but a video artist asked me if I could host a music video she made with scenes from Doom. It's called "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" and it features Reaper and Sarge (it's Slash so don't watch if this isn't your cup of tea. You can find it in the "Urban Videos" section.

I know it's been ages since my last update but, without getting into any details, I needed to take a break from Karl. But I recently took part in a challenge called Karl Advent Calendar at the LJ community Karl Uncensored and I've decided to post the result here as well. I made a wallpaper using one of the new images from Pathfinder that came out about a week ago. I hope you'll like it. I would also like to take this oppotunity to wish everyone a Merry Christmas!

Lots of goodies for you today, ladies. First, I found some great new photos of Karl taken on the set of Comanche Moon so of course I turned them into a Woodrow Call wallpaper (in Karl's Characters). It's been a long time since my last update! I've been busy in another fandom which is why I've put Karl aside for a little while. Yes, believe it or not, he is not my only inspiration, even though he is the greatest and most beautiful one.=o) Anyway, I've made a new wallpaper using more of the latest photos from the Cliff Watts collection. A new poster of Pathfinder came out a couple of days ago, and it was perfect timing because there's one image of Ghost I had been dying to use for a wallpaper so I combined it with this poster to make something new... As usual, you can find it in the Wallpaper section, under Karl's Characters.

Hi everyone. Well, the big day has finally arrived. I've put all the artwork into an image gallery and anyone who wants to access it has to register in order to do so. It's a bit of an inconvenience but I wanted to do this to protect my art from being used without my permission (especially for icons). The fact that some of my stuff ends up on Google Images and Yahoo Images does not mean that people can do whatever they want with it. Hopefully now that it's all in a gallery, it will be a little more secure. =o) Also, I've decided to offer my services for a fee to those who would like to have some customized Karl fanart such as personalized signatures, banners for LJs and fanfiction, forum headers, wallpapers and also photomanipu- lations. Just tell me how you want it and I'll make it for you. The prices and guidelines can all be found in the Urban Designs section. And finally, I've made one new Karl wallpaper called "Irresistible", which you can find in the Cliff Watts Series album of the gallery, plus a new photomani- pulation of Karl as a vampire. Enjoy! No new art today yet but as I was going through the site, I realized that I hadn't even re-uploaded the page with the new wallpapers last time... I am so sorry!!! I just corrected this unfortunate omission and now you can actually see "Your Smile" and "Urban Cool". And I would ask of you, my loyal visitors, to please let me know when I make stupid mistakes like this so that I can correct them as soon as possible, instead of realizing it only two weeks later... HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BABY!!!
As most of you know, my lovely ladies, today is Karl's birthday. And a wonderful gift has come to us yesterday in the form of a ton of extraordinary, mouth-watering, breathtaking new photographs from the Cliff Watts collection. So in honour of Karl's birthday, I made two new wallpapers using some of those pics. More will come, don't worry. *grins* Also, I acquired some exclusive photos from the Craig Owen collection (Karl in a black suit) and I've made one wallpaper using some of those pictures as well. As most of you probably know by now, Karl has been cast in an upcoming mini-series called "Comanche Moon", which is a prequel to the American Western classic "Lonesome Dove". This is wonderful news as it will certainly mean some amazing exposure for him. Inspired from this, I made a wallpaper called "The Next Big Thing", because I have a feeling that Karl is going to really become a star this time... =o) The wallpaper is in the Karl as Himself section.

I very rarely do 2 udpates back to back but this is a special occasion, in a way. A brand new picture of Karl as Ghost, from Pathfinder was released yesterday. There were already 2 others circulating so I figured by putting them together, I might be able to make something. And I did... It's in the Wallpaper section, under Karl's Characters, of course. =o)

I've been wanting to do this for a long time now. It's a graphic art style known as Dark Art. And I thought John Grimm would make a great subject for this kind of piece, poor tormented soul that he is... I think this is probably the best body I've ever used for Karl. It's just perfect for him. And it happened to be a perfect match with the Reaper screencap I really wanted to use. The planets must have been aligned in a good way when I made this... LOL! You will find this piece in the Photomanipulation section. WARNING: If you really don't like the idea of Karl's body with slashes and wounds, don't look at this. It's not that bad but it still justifies a warning.

As you may have already guessed, I'm in love with the slash pairing of Karl and Vin Diesel. I just made a photomanipulation of them, with a quote from the story I wrote about them called "For Old Times' Sake" (just click on the title if you want to read it). They are such beautiful men... The manip is very tame, though. There's no nudity whatsoever. Only Karl and Vin about to engage in a kiss...

I can't believe it's actually been 2 months since my last update! And it's certainly
not because I got tired of Karl... Hell, no! LOL! I guess I did more writing than
anything else. I finished my Vaako story, then wrote my first slash and real person
story, featuring Karl and Vin... So yes, I've been busy with the fandom but I just
didn't do any art. But I'm back, and I have no less than 4 new wallpapers for you,
lovely ladies. They were all made using the breathtaking pictures from the Cliff
Watts collection. You can find them in the Wallpaper section, of course, in the
Karl as Himself section. And I've also added a new artist to the Other Artists
section. Her name is Araestel and she has made some really beautiful Karl

I hope everyone had a nice Christmas. It had been a while since my last wallpaper so tonight I made three!! I've finally used those amazingly gorgeous pictures of Karl made by photographer Cliff Watts. In my opinion, these are the best ones of Karl to have ever been taken. I think that Mr Watts has captured Karl's essence beautifully. =o)

No new art from me per say because I've been concentrating on finishing my Vaako fanfiction, which is long overdue, so I didn't have much time for artwork. On the other hand, since 2005 is almost over, I've decided to remove my digital calendar but I've kept some of the images and turned them into regular wallpapers. There's 2 of Eomer, one of Vaako, one of Cupid and 3 of Karl as himself. Also, I've uploaded 2 drawings and a wallpaper from a new artist, Nox. Enjoy! =o)

Two new wallpapers today, of Karl as himself again. The first one is called Talk to Me and was made with pics from the Doom Premiere, again. I can't help it, there were such gorgeous profile shots taken of him and I think he has the most beautiful nose I've ever seen... *sighs* For the second one, I used images from last year's Fellowship Festival. I absolutely love those pics but I haven't used them very often...

I saw a very hi-res image of Harry Ballard from The Truth About Demons today and for some reason, it really took my breath away even though I had seen it before. Then a quote came to my mind... and I just had to put the two together... It's rather sad, actually, but so is the ending of the movie. The wallpaper can be found in the Characters section. I hope ever everyone had a nice Halloween. I went to huge party last Saturday and I was dressed up as a Necromonger (I'm not kidding!) so it was nice... *grins* Anyway, today there's no new art from me but something new from two other artists: first some new icons by the very talented Éomersmistress. There are 11 in total. And I also added two wallpapers from Imarra. They are just gorgeous!
